Weekend Update III
This weekend my extremely hard-working brothers came over to help me demolish the old deck. Remember back in April I started working on the back yard, killing weeds etc.. and that weed killer sure is awesome because I only have a handful of weeds/grass trying to sprout back (I’ll be heading back out this week to spray them away!). Lack of Progress
Andrew comes home in two days. Remember that scarf I started a year ago and haven’t touched since August? Yeah. It’s still about 2 inches long. (Shockingly it didn’t just grow on its own!) Well.
So.. Andrew’s birthday is tomorrow and his scarf is 1-2 inches long. Christmas scarf it is!

In addition to that, I think I’m ripping out those four rows today. See, the pattern was supposed to use a Channel Island Cast-On, which I’ve never done. I attempted it last night, ended up unraveling an entire skein of yarn (thanks, Mom, for winding that up for me!). I gave up and used the regular long-tail, which I like, but I really wanted to learn… [Full Post]
Bullets, In No Particular Order
- What a difference thirty minutes made yesterday, after a hard day of struggling with work and spinning wheels and wanting to cry. <3
