Gingerbread House
Since I had a lot of time in December, and the kids were off school for winter break, I thought it would be fun to decorate a gingerbread house together. I baked the cookies using this recipe and this mold pan. Using a mold pan was the best way I’ve found to make a gingerbread house. There are a few others I saw on Amazon, I liked that this one was heavy duty and very sturdy.
I kind of went nuts at the bulk section of Winco and bought way more candy than we needed. The recipe made enough dough to make 2 gingerbread houses, or just a lot of extra people, trees, stars, etc. We opted to bake the rest into other pieces to add to our house.
