First: Farmer’s Market

I had a first today: I went to the Farmer’s Market. I have been meaning to for a long time, and never had the right timing, or energy, or.. something. But, I needed ingredients for tomorrow’s ratatouille, and what better way to start off a new recipe than fresh, locally grown vegetables?
I got all of the above (1 loaf sweet french bread, 1 large eggplant, a bunch of parsley, 3 tomatoes, 4 squash, 4 green bell peppers, 2 yellow onions, 2 nectarines and 1 jar bosenberry-strawberry jam) for $21.
Not bad, eh?
