Thankful
This year has gone by so fast and I imagine the next week will be a blur, so I wanted to do a Thanksgiving post today.
I have so much to be thankful for.
The top of my list of course is my family. I don’t know what I would do without them. Sure, a lot of times they are crazy. But, they are also fun, good-spirited (most of the time lol) and generous. They are there in times of need without question, and I am so lucky because I know not everyone has that.
I am also thankful for my insight several years ago to start putting money into my 401k. If I hadn’t, the situation I am in would go from difficult to impossible.
I am thankful for my home, for my dogs, for food to eat and the ability to make something pretty tasty out of very little. I am thankful for my car, even though it’s not cute or fun, it gets me where I need to be.
I am thankful for my skills, for the way I learn things quickly and for my desire to learn and better myself. I am thankful for my positive attitude. I am also really thankful for the people I have worked with in the past who have helped me so much in the past couple of weeks.
I am so thankful for my friends who are an inspiration to me as well as emotional buoys when I need it. They make me laugh, they say what I need to hear, they listen.
I have so much I don’t deserve. I can only try to work harder to be a good friend, sister, daughter.
