Well
So.. Ruth was complaining that my last post kind of left everyone hanging. Sorry.
To add to it, today I was told my last day on my project is November 13.

Oh, no. And by end of project, do we mean also end of employment?
Well, you do hate the place. Now they won’t take up time needed for pursuing a nursing career and/or looking for a better job befpre becoming an angel of mercy..
That stinks. And they are STOOOO-PID t let someone like you go.
Truth is, I don’t know! My company is a project-based company so it’s common to go from one project to another. Actually being on the same project for 3 years is unusual in this business. And honestly, walking away from this project I am ok with because it has become something I don’t support and I’m not proud of. I don’t hate the whole company, I do hate the management of this project and the direction it’s going in.
I sent an e-mail to the president of the company and I have been contacted about 4 projects that I may be able to jump to. I’m not too worried, even though in the past they have always said “there are other projects” when there weren’t, these ones are actually tangible so I am hopeful. I think I’m going to be ok.
That being said, I’m not giving up on the nursing thing, I’m just going to figure out what is the best course of action – working and going to school or quitting and going to school full time. I think if I can manage working, it’d make me feel a lot safer and stable. we’ll see!
Well, then maybe this whole project ending thing will be a real blessing. If the President is really aware of his company, he probably knows what an amazing asset you are. If I had a business, I would make every effort to keep such a valuable worker!
If you can work and pursue nursing school at the same time, I can see where that would feel much more secure. But, wow! That would be work!!! If the school and/or the company are a bit flexible, that would sure help. It might take a little longer, but you and Chloe would have a home and food. (Although, you know if you were ever desperate, we would manage to make room for you.)

Yeah, in some ways this is possibly a very good thing. I am extremely relieved to be able to say I only need to work for my boss for 3 more weeks, and then I never have to deal with her crap again! Woohoo!
I’m glad that several people at the company have expressed strong desires to get me on their projects, so I think my work has spoken for itself – and the fact that my boss can’t see that, well, at least other people are.
I bet those managers who know what’s what will be knocking each other over to get you. Maybe you can pick up some perks?
That’s what I’m hoping for.. if nothing else, right now it looks like I have my “pick” of these projects, which is nice!
