Potato & Corn Chowder
Here’s another favorite – chowder. I have been trying to find a recipe for cheesy chowder that I tried 8 years ago, and this one came pretty close. It’s another great slow cooker recipe and it tastes amazing.

Ingredients
- 1-1/2 pounds yellow potatoes, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 can creamed corn
- 1 pound frozen corn
- 3 slices bacon, cooked and chopped into small pieces
- Black pepper, to taste
- 2 cups chicken stock
- 3 cups water
- 2 cups half and half
- 1 cup monterey jack cheese
- 1 cup pepper jack cheese
- 1/3 cup sliced green onions
Directions
- Add potatoes, onion, both corns, bacon, pepper, stock and water to a crock pot and cook on low 8-10 hours.
- Add half and half, cheeses and green onion and cook an additional 15-30 minutes.
